Guidelines for using MoCo - Money with Confidence

Welcome to MoCo — Money with Confidence ("MoCo," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of the MoCo - Money with Confidence mobile application and services, operated by Financial Step Up, LLC. By accessing or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MoCo, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Subscription Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

MoCo is a personal financial coaching and literacy application that provides budgeting tools, expense tracking, credit score monitoring, goal setting, and AI-powered financial information and recommendations. MoCo is designed for educational and informational purposes only.

3. Not Financial Advice

IMPORTANT: MoCo does NOT provide financial advice. MoCo is NOT a credit repair organization. All information, recommendations, and content provided through MoCo, including responses from the Ask MoCo AI feature, are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for your financial decisions. You should consult with qualified financial professionals before making any financial decisions.

4. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to use MoCo.

All content, features, and functionality of MoCo are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. User Data

You retain ownership of the financial data you enter into MoCo. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Please note that some information may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving disputes). This retained data will be securely deleted after the retention period expires.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MoCo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Financial Step Up, LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Financial Step Up, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of MoCo: Money with Confidence or violations of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of MoCo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Subscription and Payments

Some features of MoCo require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to your plan features until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing period.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in our refund policy.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Your continued subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

13. Termination (ability to cancel subscription)

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support@trymoco.com.

14. Account Deletion & Data Removal

You have the right to delete your account and request removal of your personal data at anytime. Here's how:

  3. Step 3: Tap "Delete Account"

15. Free Lifetime Access

For individuals who joined the waitlist prior to the launch date of February 16, 2026, free lifetime access was granted for the Plus tier.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
